The WiFi is fibre optic, but being in a remote location makes the WiFi connection as well as phone services occasionally unreliable. We cannot guarantee a stable WiFi connection at all times, something to bear in mind if you rely on remote work.
Generally, it is possible. However, from experience it is very difficult to combine full time remote work with farm life, so we don’t encourage volunteers who are working full time to stay with us. We also cannot offer a quiet working space, since the farm is always busy and seldom without noise
Meals are not included. Only the accommodation/parking spaces and facilities we offer are free of charge.
A small local shop in Pareto is walkable, but the closest fully stocked supermarket is in Acqui Terme and we organise a weekly trip to the supermarkets for groceries
Dogs are welcomed if you are travelling with your own van. Since the accommodation we provide is also home to our various farm dogs, we usually do not allow visiting dogs in their spaces. There is a dog park on site where your dog can be off leash under supervision. Outside of the fenced areas visiting dogs need to be leashed at all times and should be walked off the property.
