Pepe's Story

Pepe is the thinker of the trio. Born into a sanctuary full of life, Pepe has grown up surrounded by animals, people, and activity. Of the three siblings, he’s the most observant and cautious, preferring to form strong bonds with his chosen humans rather than spreading his love to everyone at once.

Once you’re in Pepe’s circle, though, you’re in for life. He becomes your shadow, your adventure buddy, your biggest fan. He’s deeply loyal and thrives in a one-on-one relationship where he can feel safe, understood, and connected.

Pepe is not a fan of chaos or too many canine companions. Like Cipolla, he’d do best as the only dog in the home, with someone who enjoys long walks, playtime, and the kind of calm, consistent presence that builds trust. He’s active, fun, and loves a good game — but more than anything, he just wants to belong.
